The Ann Arbor area continues to have a robust real estate market, despite the Coronavirus Pandemic, according to the Ann Arbor Area Board of Realtors statistics for September.
Almost all measures of the real estate market showed increases, except new condominium listings, which fell by 10.3%. Single family home sales increased 23.8% along with condominium sales increasing 15.8%. Total overall residential home and condominium sales were up 22.2%.
Total residential home & condominium sales increased 22.2%. Single family home sales increased23.8%compared to this time last year. New single family home listings also increased in September, with a 7.8% rise compared to this time last year. The average single family home listing price rose by 17.9%.
Condominium sales increased 15.8% compared to last year. The average condominium list price rose 17% along with the average sales price increasing 8.5% compared to 2019. During this past September, 88 condominiums sold.
A total of 457 residential home & condominium listings sold during September compared to 374 in 2019. Single family home sales were 369.
